WHAT WE ARE DOING
The are many places which claim to cater for the disabled,
but in reality do not!

What we are doing is attempting to identify those places which actually do what they say, and letting you know for sure which ones you can trust to do exactly what they say.

Sooner or later, all the places mentioned in this guide will have been assessed using a strict criteria for accessibility and facilities. As we gather the information, we will be awarding wheelchair symbols, the more wheelchairs there are, the higher the standard, 5 being the highest. Plus we will add some of the usual symbols which are used in the travel brochures and guides etc.

If you have visited somewhere which does not meet YOUR requirements, please let us know what the problem is and we will try to look into it. If it is a genuine problem which will affect others, we will ask the hotel to put it right if they can. If they can't, (or won't) they will be deleted from our list, or the information put into a 'comment'. (Quite simple really.)

If you are the proprietor or manager of a Hotel or Guest House, and you feel that you have a service which the disabled traveler would like to use, PLEASE CONTACT US. Details can be found on the 'You Can Help' page.
